I, the undersigned, [Name of the director], board member of the Syndicate of co-ownership of [name to be completed], hereby acknowledge that I have been appointed as a board member and have access to confidential and sensitive information concerning the operations, financial management, and internal affairs of the Syndicate of co-ownership. To ensure the confidentiality of the information received in the performance of my duties, I make the following commitments:

  1. Confidentiality:
    I commit to maintaining the confidentiality of all information I have access to, including financial data, personal information of the co-owners or occupants, contracts, and board meeting deliberations.

  2. Non-disclosure:
    I commit not to disclose confidential information to third parties without the explicit agreement of the board of directors, except in exceptional circumstances where the law would require such disclosure. This includes a commitment not to disclose or reveal any confidential information or knowledge relating to the syndicate's affairs that have been disclosed to me solely for the sole benefit of the co-ownership, due to and during the course of my mandate.

  3. Privacy Protection
    I commit to respecting the privacy of the co-owners and occupants and to protecting the personal information held by the syndicate.

  4. Restricted Use of Information:
    I commit not to disclose any personal or confidential information that I come across in the performance of my duties unless duly authorized, not to use this information for my own benefit or the benefit of a third party, and to use it only in the context of my duties.

  5. Secure Management of Documents and Files:
    I commit to securely dispose of any document containing personal information by shredding and any computer file by logical destruction and physical erasure.

  6. Post-Mandate Obligations:
    I commit to respecting the confidentiality obligations set out in the previous paragraphs, even in the event of resignation, removal, or non-renewal of my mandate. I also commit to returning all documents and other objects in my possession related to the Syndicate of Co-ownership to the person designated by the board of directors at the end of my mandate.
