It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pierre Gravel, a respected insurance broker and an essential figure in the field of co-ownership. His passing on January 31, 2025, at the age of 89, represents an immeasurable loss for our community.

A meticulous and visionary professional, Pierre Gravel dedicated several decades to advising co-ownership syndicates with exceptional expertise. He had an in-depth understanding of their specific needs and always strived to provide the most suitable solutions, contributing to the security and structure of co-ownership insurance management. Through his unwavering commitment, he left a significant mark on the evolution of the sector, helping numerous administrators and co-owners navigate the complexities of the insurance world.
A loyal friend of the Regroupement des gestionnaires et copropriétaires du Québec
Pierre Gravel was a strong supporter of the Regroupement des gestionnaires et copropriétaires du Québec (RGCQ). His generosity and dedication deeply impacted our organization, and he was always available to support and guide our members. His sincere friendship and constant dedication were a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of working with him.
He was also a close friend of our late former president, Raymond Ouimet. Together, they shared a common vision for co-ownership, one defined by rigor and goodwill. His passing is a tremendous loss for the entire co-ownership sector, which has lost not only an outstanding professional but also a man of great humanity.
Pierre Gravel is survived by his beloved wife, Micheline Fillion Gravel, as well as his children, Christine (Pierre), Patrice (Marie-France), and Pascale (Jean-Pierre). He was also a devoted grandfather to Antoine, Nicolas, Ariane, Daphné, Thierry, and Alexandre. His brothers and sisters Gilles, Nicole, Yves, Renée, and Jean-François, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends, are mourning his passing.
As a tribute to his memory, the family suggests making a donation to the Fondation de la Maison Victor-Gadbois, a cause that was dear to his heart.
