Definition : Vertical co-ownership

Co-ownership consisting of superimposed private portions (e.g., a residential tower) whose cadastral plan divides the building into volume (three-dimensional). Thus, in this co-ownership type the private portions  and common portions are situated one above the others and equally one beside the others.This is the most common type of co-ownership.

WARNING ! It is essential to consult the cadastral plan to determine what type of co-ownership it is (vertical co-ownership or horizontal co-ownership).
