Procedure that allows the creditor to seize an immovable owned by the debtor (e.g. an apartment held in divided co-ownership) before having it sold under judicial authority. A sale under judicial authority allows the creditor to be paid, from the sale price, pursuant to a judgment obtained against the debtor.
