Definition : Resolution in writing

Resolution in writing signed by all the persons entitled to vote, having the same force as if it had been adopted at a meeting of the co-owners. Article 1102.1 of the Civil Code of Quebec states that the board of directors shall send to the co-owners every resolution in writing within 30 days of the passage of the resolution. This article must be read with article 1103 of the Civil Code of Quebec, which provides for a judicial remedy for any co-owner in annulling or amending a decision of the meeting of co-owners. In addition, any resolution in writing is part of the documents produced in the register of the co-ownership. It must be made available to any co-owner who requests it.
