Contract by which a co-owner confers on an occupant, free of charge, the enjoyment of his private portion for a certain period of time. This could include an exchange of apartments between two people without compensation. A co-owner who grants this right of use must, within 15 days, notify the syndicate of co-owners. He will indicate the name of the occupant, the duration of the right of occupation, as well as the date on which the latter received a copy of the by-laws of the immovable.
