Definition : Contract of enterprise

Contract by which a natural or legal person (the contractor) undertakes in respect of another person (the client) to carry out a material or intellectual work for a price that the client undertakes to pay. This could be, for example, rehabilitation work or maintenance of common areas. This type of contract generally provides that the contractor has a free choice of the means of execution of the contract, since there are no  subordination ties between the parties.
