Definition : Adjournment

Decision of the president of the meeting to terminate a meeting of co-owners and postpone it to a later date, for example when the quorum is not reached at the beginning of the meeting. The same applies if, following the departure of one or more co-owners during the meeting, the quorum is no longer reached and a co-owner requests the adjournment. Items on the agenda that have not been addressed will be addressed at a later date. In such a situation, a notice must be sent to all co-owners, indicating the date on which the meeting is postponed. This second meeting will then be called the make-up meeting.
