Definition : Deed of allotment

A deed usually prepared and received by a notary, by notarial act en minute, under which a co-owner is granted an exclusive right of use in certain sections of the common portions of the building (e.g., parking or storage spaces).  The deeds of allotment must be filed in the register of the co-ownership.
