Definition : Gazette officielle du Québec

Government publication of the Québec State, by which the government makes its decisions official. The Gazette officielle du Québec shall provide access to all laws, regulations, orders, orders and notices whose publication is required. It has been published by the Éditeur officiel du Québec since January 16, 1869 in two separate editions under  the Act respecting the Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale and the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail and the Regulation respecting the Gazette officielle du Québec.

Part 1, entitled "Legal Notices", is published at least every Saturday. When Saturday is a statutory holiday, the Québec Official Publisher is authorized to publish it the day before or the following Monday.

Part 2  « Lois et règlements » and its English version Part 2 "Laws and Regulations" are published at least every Wednesday. When Wednesday is a statutory holiday, the Québec Official Publisher is authorized to publish it the day before or the next day.
