Voting in a meeting of the co-owners
The right to vote is the very foundation of a democracy. The citizens who are part of it can thus express their will in an election. In principle, this right is equal among all voters. In effect, it is equivalent to "one person, one vote", which means that all the votes cast have the same weight. Divided co-ownership is also expressed by vote at meetings of co-owners. All proposals must be voted on to become a resolution. However, co-ownership derogates from the principle of "one co-owner, one vote", i.e. the number of votes the co-owners have is directly correlated with their ownership right in the building.
A look at the different aspects of voting at co-owners' meetings.
