Architect for 35 years, Mr. Fallah completed his studies at Laval University in Quebec to obtain his diploma. He has been a member of the Quebec Order of Architects (OAQ) since 1989.
Having started his career in the field of co-ownership, Mr. Fallah realized that there were significant gaps in the maintenance of the building envelope. From then on, he deepened his experience particularly in the technical aspects of the building envelope and developed customized details that would make him recognized for solving one of the major problems in buildings, water infiltrations.
Closely related to water infiltration problems, Mr. Fallah realized that there were significant gaps in building maintenance. In this perspective, he prepares a customized document that compiles all the deficiencies of the building envelope identified during a thorough visual examination. This report, the Detailed Report of the Building's Condition, aims to be a reference guide to assist administrators in managing their building. This customized tool not only compiles all the deficiencies and the present and future damages they cause to the envelope but also includes a table of annual budgets to be allocated over the coming 10 years to restore their building's luster, thus establishing their Contingency Fund.
Participating in symposiums within the RGCQ (Regroupement des Gestionnaires de Copropriété du Québec), he raises awareness among participants about the obvious signs of deterioration of the building envelope by indicating the control points and the importance of conducting envelope inspections to anticipate maintenance expenses and ensure the building's longevity.
Moreover, at the request of the Continuing Education Center for Construction Professionals (CFCPC), he offers a one-day training course on the Prevention of the Deterioration of the Building Envelope.
