Definition : Registraire des entreprise (Enterprise registrar)

Civil servant and public officer, the Enterprise Registrar is responsible for:

  • keeping an enterprise register;
  • receiving the documents intended to be deposited there and to ensure their publicity;
  • registering natural persons and trusts who operate an enterprise, partnerships, legal persons and groups of persons;
  • cancelling a registration, in certain circumstances.
