François Taillefer has been a Bailiff of Justice since 1986.  Practicing for the firm Paquette & Associates, he is one of the main associates and is responsible for the bailiffs’ reports, the judicial sale and seizures of private practice.

He is a member of the Chamber of Bailiffs of Quebec (Chambre des huissiers de justice du Québec) and served, for several years, as administrator at the Board of Directors.

He is a professor at the Chamber of Bailiffs of Quebec and is also part of the Reform Committee of the Code of Civil Procedure.

During the practice of his profession, he was invited as a speaker to address issues such as bailiffs’ reports, seizures Anton Piller, commercial leases, and this, before members of the magistracy, lawyers, notaries, building administrators, law students and to his peers.

For two decades, he was Chairman of a Board of Directors of a 250-unit condominium and a condominium professional administrator. He has significant expertise in co-ownership condominiums.
